About Me

Hello, I’m Jessica Roulst

I’m a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I was born and raised in Kitsap County and have had a love for nutrition for as long as I can remember and have wanted to tie it together with my childhood goal to help others.

My passion is to help others to see their own greatness and to live their best lives. Living a life of optimal health mentally, physically, and spiritually. Let's change the world one person at a time by being the best versions of ourselves.

As many of us do, my disordered eating began in my late teens and continued through my early 20s. I started with huge calorie restriction after I quit sports followed by binge eating, bulimia, laxatives, and overexercising in my freshman year of college. It took a few exquisite people to help me clear my lens and shift to food as fuel. However, I still struggled with other health issues.

I’ve struggled with health issues ranging from eczema, allergies, and asthma. The only solution my doctor offered was to quit my job or use a steroid cream. I was also curious that her only other solution was to use steroid lotions. Since then I’ve had to take my health into my own hands. I then went to a naturopath who did blood work and only recommended that I stay away from gluten and dairy. He gave no more info on what was happening to my body or how to help me heal my gut which I now see was in much need of support and restoration.

My family is in the restaurant industry, I have worked in customer service since 2006, starting with smaller roles of hosting and bussing and working up to bartending, management, and helping to open a new location. Over half of my life I have been in the service industry and have a love of helping people while giving an experience, which I believe is very helpful for me in the health and wellness world.

I received my Bachelor of Arts through the Healthcare Leadership program at the University of Washington Tacoma in 2013. Since then I have gone through multiple education and training from a 200 hr yoga teacher training, Functional Medicine Health Coach certification, Autoimmune Protocol certified coach, Nutritional Therapy Certification, Restart Instructor, as well as training in Ayurveda.

I am here to help empower women to understand what they have idealized as normal in the modern world indeed is not normal. Once we experience what it is like to feel well, we realize how bad we have been feeling all along. In this fast-moving time with so much on our plates, we don’t have time to not feel our best. I am here to help empower women as they transition through different chapters of their health journey. I am here to help healthy eating be easier. I am here to change the social norm. I am here to inspire others to be more intentional in their day to day. I am here to bring health and longevity to you and your family.

A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner does not diagnose or treat disease.
